Digital Literacy

Digital literacy is a core component of teaching and learning in today’s post-secondary environment. It includes the knowledge, skills, and critical perspectives educators and learners need to access, evaluate, create, and share information using digital tools while understanding the ethical, social, cultural, and accessibility implications of those technologies.

At BCcampus, our work in digital literacy supports educators in navigating digital teaching and learning with confidence and care. Through professional learning opportunities, open resources, and collaborative initiatives, we help educators build critical digital literacy practices centring learner needs, equity, and inclusion, and respond thoughtfully to evolving digital environments in the post-secondary sector.
